biztalk 2004 application name and resources

I'm new to biztalk 2004 and I have no idea where to find my application name and my resources on the Biztalk Server Administration?

I can only see my orchestration, send ports and receive locations!

Can you clarify? BizTalk Server 2004?

BizTalk Server 2004 did not have the BizTalk Administration tool, nor did it have the concept of Applications.

All we had was BizTalk Explorer in Visual Studio.

Hi Chris,

Yes, you will not find application name and resources in biztalk administration console of 2004. This is because it didn't have the concept of application name at that time.

Your console would look like:

BoatSeller,

I do see the assembly file plus all other biztalk artifacts in visual studio dev environment.

Now I want to take a look at the configuration for send port and receive locations in the prod environment for this BT2004 app. Any idea where to find the configuration for send and receive?

I agree with Morten here. From your last message we understand that you are still using BizTalk Server 2004 in your production server which is not supported any more. We recommended that you should propose an upgrade to your customer to the latest version BizTalk 2013 R2.

Biztalk explorer is located in visual studio which allows me to access configuration but that is in dev environment.

In production there is no visual studio so where do I look for the send port, receive location configuration in production.

I'm new to BT 2004 :)

hmm.. BizTalk Administration console was include in BizTalk Server 2004.

To open the BizTalk Administration console, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Microsoft BizTalk Server, and then click BizTalk Server Administration.

If BizTalk administration console is not present then I am afraid you are left with no option.

BT admin console I see that in BT 2004 but in BT 2004 admin console you can't have access to send port, orchestration, receive location configuration, they are just their but the properties tab has no configuration so I do not have any idea which server my send and receive is pointing to!
