azure database and SQLServer studio users/credentials do not work

hello All,
Please if you could help I would appreciate it. I loaded the Adventure DB to Azure but when I tried to connect to it through SQL Server studio I do not have access to it. But if I created a db directly in Azure under my account and the azure user then I have access to this db through SQL Server Studio. I read a lot and it look like the problem is credentials but I can not figurate what I need to do. I see the adventure database is created under dbo but I do not what the password and official user are. and also I believe I don't have these user and password in my local pc where SqlServer Studio is installed. Thanks! I am tired of trying different things.

In azure my pc IP is linked/assigned there. In SQLStudio I can see the names of the databases but I can not access them. look disable/gray-color. only the one I create empty there in Azure I can access but I can not change anything there or update tables or change db name nothing.

Thanks!

Hi Ana,

Regarding accessing the adventure works DB, have you tried to connect to it using the user name and password you entered for the server that hosts the DB?

It would be helpful if you could post a screenshot of the disabled select list so we have a better understanding of what you see and try to do.

Thank you,

Jan
