applications not working when workstation joined a domain
Hi,
We've third party applications that does not work when the workstation where it's installed is joined to a win2k3 domain, e.g. chikka messenger, this same application is working when on standalone mode i.e. not joined to a domain. Is there a way to resolve
this?
Many thanks in advance.

Are you using a domain account now?
Did you install these applications for “all users”.
This application might be associated with your local user profile not the domain user profile.

What is the error message you receive? This could be related to a GPO being applied that restricts the application from running. Or, possibly a service that is being restricted from running when joined to the domain (via GPO).
The error message would be needed to troubleshoot this issue.
