Hello, The program size reported in Control Panel is based on the size of files of your program in the Program Files directory. The size reported is actually not very accurate. Id suggest you read the below article and get to know why the reported size is not always accurate. How does Add/Remove Programs get the size and other information? http://blogs.msdn.com/b/oldnewthing/archive/2004/07/09/178342.aspx#comments Thanks Zhang

Hi Zhang, can you tell me why my applictaion size is increasing when i am running my installer in maintenance mode and selecting some feature to be add or removed?when i am selecting some feature to be removed the size is not getting reduced but after selecting some fetaure to be installed the size in control panel is increasing. It is always adding the values associated with the feature to the previous one.is there anything to do with installshield or this problem totally generated due to operating system's wrong calculation from program files because physically my files are getting deleted from program files ,so OS should calculate it perfectly.please help me out. Hello, I guess there is not a solution to this because of the way how Add/Remove Programs estimate the program size and how it retrieve other information as explained in the URL below.
