admin access restrict
Hi
I have given admin access to 3 users in windows 2003 server. I want to restrict C drive (OS drive) for those people. Please advice.

through the group policy settings you will be able to restrict the access for specific drives. but an administrator can change this settings if they are technically strong. otherwise this will work for you.

Thanks for your posting.
As above posting, admin has the same privilege level with you on that computer. What you restrict on that computer they have same privilege to cancel it.
We have a Group Policy item to remove the icons representing selected drives form My Computer and Windows Explorer, and remove all graphic representation of the selected
drives from Certified for Microsoft Windows programs. Also, the drive letters representing the selected drives do not appear in the standard Open dialog box.
You can configure it at:
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Explorer\ Hide these specified drives in My Computer
