Dear All, In our Infrastructure, We have installed one KMS server and it activated using telephone. We have around 100 windows 2008 R2 servers with standard/Enterprise . because of some security issue, the network is not connected to internet. My question is How can i activate all the servers using KMS server, with out accessing MS license server. IS it need to call MS support to activate all the 100 servers or any other way to activate offline? please help me...................

Hi, your 100 servers can be installed with the generic KMSclient productkey, and this will cause them to perform DNS lookup in your network for your KMShost server. Your KMShost server will issue an activation to each KMSclient. This requires no connection to internet, no connection to MS. A KMShost is the on-premises solution for KMSclients. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff793432.aspx Don (Please take a moment to "Vote as Helpful" and/or "Mark as Answer", where applicable.
