Work Folders - Not Functioning Correctly - Sync Stopped. Blocked by security policies

Currently trying to deploy Work Folders so that when a user logs in, all of his/her settings are pointing to the local Work Folders which are then synchronized with the Work Folders server.  I have found the follow post regarding someone experiencing a similar issue to mine however it doesn't appear to be the exact same issue as the poster's fix doesn't fix my issue.  (See: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/bf6b77de-349c-454e-8746-f26e76c8f3a3/work-folders-not-working-on-second-computer?forum=winserver8gen)

I am seeing the following error - in the Work Folders section under control panel - on my account that I've configured to use WORK FOLDERS:

Note: The "manage credentials" link on the left-hand side when clicked displays the following:

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Robert

Hi,

Is there any error message in the Event Log? You could try to click Stop using Work Folders, then Click the Manage credentials link to check if you can update your credentials.

Hi Mandy,

The Work Folders options are pushed out via GPO, therefore when I go to a remove it - by selecting STOP USING WORK FOLDERS - I get "You can't stop using Work Folders on this PC"  This setting is managed by our system administrator.  It is also important to note that the OU in which the machine/user account are located do *NOT* inherit any GPO's from the domain.

Thanks!

Hi, Robert,

Im facing the same problem in my Work Folders environment.
The clients Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 stop synchronization with server.
There's no error messages on Server Event Viewer.
After a server reboot the synchronization resumes.
