Wins Server - Debugging Client Registration Problem
I have a Windows 2003 Server running as a WINS server. I have run into problems at one of my branch offices (which connects to the server location via a VPN Router) with the remote computers registering properly in the WINS database. My remote computers are a mix of Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 computers, none of which are properly registered in the WINS database on the server. How do I go about debugging what is going on? Note: When I run ipconfig /all on all of the remote computers the WINS server address is correct, and I can ping the server address.Mike Schumann
