Ok my computer has been missing a bunch of updates lately and i dont understand why i click check for updates the Error COde 80072efe pops up. Also ive tryed to install a microsoft web cam and my mp3 player to my computer and it says it cant locate the drivers on the disk or on the internet and ive had both replaced with brand new ones so idk why its giving me problems PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Thanks alot for this Post, the TDSSKiller app from Kaspersky Did Worked on my Windows 7 Machine. Seems like is a new Virus, I Have MacAfee Anti Virus and has detected trojans on my machine but Did NOT resolved this problem, which it was that I could not update within windows update or let me go to some Windows Updates websites. If it wasn't for this forum I could have not Resolved the Error Code 80072EFE because Trying to Use any windows Help would not point me to the right place because this root virus somehow will prevent me from going to any website that will help me with the problem.

if you have the root virus malware, you won't be able to see this link. Using the TDSSKiller fix from kaspersky that plasterdude point out will definetly help out.
