Windows update causes hang/reboot cycling in Server 2008 (SBS premium)
I have a windows SBS premium server 2008. This is set to auto update. Since an update 19/11/9 the system will not boot properly. It simply boot cycles, crashing and then rebooting. It seems to crash at the CRCDISK.SYS. driver. I have changed/installed nothing recently other than windows update.I have tried rebooting repeatedly. No system restore option (except de novo). Tried chkdsk /f not useful. Safe modes crash as above. Can only boot iunto the recovery environment command prompt.Help. Any way I can find out what did this and uninstall the upate culprit?RegardSimonSystem dell r300 poweredge quad core 12GB RAM2x 1TB HDD
