Hi all, when i try to join windows server 2008 server from another site with different subnet i got the following error Attempt to update HOST Service Principal Names (SPNs) of the computer object in Active Directory failed. The RPC server is unavailable. when i click Ok and continue when the server restarts i can't access with domain account and got the following error the security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship any help ? Hello, you have DNS problems or blocked ports problem. Please make sure that you are pointing to the correct DNS server. Use nslookup to check that you are able to solve DNS names correctly. If this does not help, make sure that: Each DC / DNS server points to its private IP address as primary DNS server and other internal DNS servers as secondary ones Each DC without DNS points to correct internal DNS servers as DNS servers Once done, run ipconfig /registerdns and restart netlogon on each DC.
