Windows server 2008 domain local groups
HI, i am not been able to add my domain locl security group a folder in my file server. both the DC and the file server both in Srver 2008 domain envioemnt. but when i try to add the group it wont come up in the AD search.

Are you absolutely sure this is a domain local group? Could it be a distribution group? Visit: anITKB.com, an IT Knowledge Base.

Hello, please check that this group is a security group. I think that it is a distribution group which can be used only for messaging.
