Windows server 2008
Hi, I have a windows server 2008 domain controller that is recently renamed from isbf.edu.in to isbf.com. It netbios name is isbf0. problem is that when users logon, it create a new profile with netbios name like username.isbf0. Kindly give any solution.Anshul Tyagi

Hi, Please understand that we must refer to the right renaming process when we try to rename the domain. Regarding the issue, if we didnt rename the domain with the right process and the users profiles have existed in the folder, the issue you mentioned will occur. At this time, I suggest we try to use another user log on to the domain to see if the issue persists. Also we can delete the users old profiles and log on to the domain again to test the issue. Hi, As you suggest i have deleted a user both old and new profile from profile folder but when user log on again no profile is created in profile folder for that user and two warning event id 1515 , 1511 created.Anshul Tyagi
