Windows server 2003 event 1181
Hi ! I manage a network composed of two 2000 servers and seven 2003 servers. The primary roles are hold by a 2003 server. I wan to create some attributes and classes in the AD schema and i got the following error : AD_TERM could not delete the following column from the database because it is being used by an index. This column was previously used by the following attribute, which has been deleted. Then it gives me the column and attribute number. How to get rid of this ? It prevents me to add attributes tolding me that this already exists. I tried the technet solution without resulte : http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc756399(WS.10).aspx

Have you taken a look at ADSI Edit?http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc773354.aspxOf course a disclaimer... ; ) Editing the Active Directory Schema can result in an undesirable outcome if the wrong things aredeleted.

Hi ! ADSIEDIT doesn't help me because the attributes referred by the event viewer cannot be seen in the schema. I tried the two solutions from technet without result. Thanks.
