Hello,
long logon times often belong to wrong/misconfigured DNS settings. Please post an unedited ipconfig /all from the server and the DC/DNS server of the domain.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.

Hi,
Please make sure that the affected server has installed the latest service pack. Assuming that the DNS setting is correct, you can perform a clean boot to see if the issue could be resolved.

Hello,
this may be due to several reasons:
Wrong DNS configuration: you to make sure that the server points to the correct internal DNS server as primary DNS server
Applied group policies: check event viewer logs for more information about the appliance of group policies (Mapped drives, folder redirection ...)
Viruses / spywares / malware programs: If it is the case, you have to perform a full scan on your disks to remove them. Once done, you have to perform an in-place upgrade.

hi ,
First troubleshooting step is to check in
a) safe mode
b) safe mode with networking
Please provide us the results.
If the issue occurs with the above mentioned sites then you have to further troubleshooting with respect to
a) network
b) logon scripts
c) app's configured during startup
second , use msconfig to disable the start up services ( non microsoft) . and then please verify if the issue is happening to one profiel or on all the profiles.
If you still have the problem, try unpluging the network cable and test the behavior.
