Hi,
When the Windows system shut down unexpectedly, the Windows system create a Event which is ID 6008 in System log. The event provides the date and time for last unexpected shut down.

Hello,
In addition to above posts, when ever you find event ID 6008. Do this steps

You need to check whether your server configured for dump file record or not? Once *.dmp file recorded, by using win debug software have to analyze and try to find the cause of sever shutdown.Based on the cause need to update hot fixes, if required.
