Subject: Windows cannot automatically enable or disable Remote desktop because the windows Firewall is not running
I am installing with unattend.xml a Windows Server 2008 Std, I apply a security Template with Windows Firewall disable and Remote Desktop enable allow connection from computers But I can establish a RDP connection, I need to logon locally and enable the remote desktop, but when I try to enable Remote Desktop I always have to enable Windows Firewall, why? Can I enable Remote Desktop without enabling Windows Firewall.
Thanks in advanced,

Hi,
Please understand that there are a lot of system components depending on the Windows Firewall service, and it is not recommended to stop the Windows Firewall service. To disable Windows Firewall, I suggest that you turn it off instead of stopping the service. To turn off Windows Firewall, run the following command:
Netsh advfirewall set allprofiles state off
