Windows Web Server 2008 R2 Edition Limitations
Hello, I am a beginner in these forums and this is my first question. Soon I will be switching to a VPS for website hosting and there will be a few choices for the operating system. Windows Web Server 2008 R2 Edition comes with the VPS with no additional cost so I wanted to know if there are any limitations/differences between Windows Web Server 2008 R2 Edition and Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition I should be aware of? Thank You,

I heard something about 10 concurrent connetions file sharing, do you know what this means? it seems that was a limit in Windows Web Server 2003, but it not a technical limit in 2008: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserversetup/thread/1495a261-1bd8-4dc5-8b18-5402944b06e4/ This type of file sharing is usually known as SMB or CIFS, and doesn't usually relate to web services. if your web server will offer pages/content/documents etc for people to access with a web browser, and they will access your content using http, then there is no limit.Don
