Windows Server 2012 R2 Standar: task manager, missing cores

Hello, we are migrating to Windows Server 2012 R2.

And when installing a server (IBM x3650 7979) I see with surprise that only detects a CPU, 2 that you have installed.

In the Bios two CPUs appear.
In the Device Manager 4 cores appear
And task manager just 2 cores

Dual processor server has two Xeon 5130 with 2 cores each

What's going on ?. It is windows server 2012 r2 is the standard version and is licensed on.

thanks

They are somewhat older servers and you see that in principle they were not supported in Windows Server 2012 R2. But he had to prove right?

The point is that another server that have migrated to Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard, in this case:

IBM X3550 7978, also with two Xeon E5130

In the Bios two CPUs Appear.
In the Device Manager 4 cores Appear
And task manager just 4 cores

Everything is correct.

Why in the x3650 with E5130 appear only 2 cores instead of 4 cores?

I'm trying to upload photos, but do not let me check the bill when you get in, I climb a catch.

I uploaded the two screenshots , as you can see in the previous post .

The X3650 only shows two cores

And the X3550 4 cores

Both with two Xeon E5130 cpu

The bios of both teams are at the latest version 1.19 I believe

What I can do to make the 4 cores appear in the x3650 ?

thanks

I returned to reinstall windows server 2012 r2, and already appear 2 socket .

The problem came because
1 Install Windows Server
2nd Upgrade Bios

And something will change in the bios , no longer detects the socket .

So the solution bios first, then install windows

It is logical, but sometimes ...
