Hello everyone,

This is my first posting to a message broad so here we go. I have been working on a issues with a  Windows RDS Server 2012 R2. The issues is that i have not been able to install the most up to date or any version of Java for that matter. This has caused a lot issues for me at my work place because we are a cloud base company and everyone uses the RDS server to work form. My end users have said that they are unable to work on some sites because they are being asked to install java to continue. I have tried to install Java my self right on to the RDS server but have had no luck. I have saved it to the desktop and ran the install from them with now luck. The install of java looks like it is working but once you go into control panel and go under "uninstall a program" Java doesn't even show.  If any one have any ideas out there please let me know.

There is a forum specifically for Server and there may be one for RDS Server. This forum is for Essentials Server which does not allow RDS to be used "on" it.  It requires a separate server.  So you may get better responses in those forums.

Having said that, are you:  1.  Using Programs and Features to install, and 2.  When logged on as Administrator?
