Afew questions, hope i can get some answers i try read through the web but i can't really get it.

I had a backup daily using a dedicated ext hdd 2tb. Server drive, system state etc around 200gigs at the moment. Daily full system backup.

1.) How much copies can the dedicated ext hdd grows to what's the maximum storage and how many weeks or months of data i can restore back if anything happens?

2.) If ext hdd is at the maximum capacity can it automatic overwrite the earlier stages of backup or must i reformat and trigger the backup again?
