Windows Server 2008 sp1
We have it one of these that won't detect new updates. Is this version out of support?
Thanks

Hello,
no idea what about you are talking.
If you have problems installing the SP use the System update readiness tool BEFORE.

Will a Windows Server 2008 w/sp1 still get security updates from Windows Update or has it reached end of support?
We have one Windows Server 2008 w/sp1 box and when going to the windows update site it always says no new updates are available.

Hello,
first to know is that SP2 is already available
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=16468 and should be installed ASAP and then additional updates are listed.
For the life cycle and support see
