Hello, no idea what about you are talking. If you have problems installing the SP use the System update readiness tool BEFORE. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14668Best regards Meinolf Weber MVP, MCP, MCTS Microsoft MVP - Directory Services My Blog: http://msmvps.com/blogs/mweber/ Disclaimer: This posting is provided AS IS with no warranties or guarantees and confers no rights.

Will a Windows Server 2008 w/sp1 still get security updates from Windows Update or has it reached end of support? We have one Windows Server 2008 w/sp1 box and when going to the windows update site it always says no new updates are available.

Hello, first to know is that SP2 is already available http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=16468 and should be installed ASAP and then additional updates are listed. For the life cycle and support see http://support.microsoft.com/lifecycle/?LN=en-us&C2=1163Best regards Meinolf Weber MVP, MCP, MCTS Microsoft MVP - Directory Services My Blog: http://msmvps.com/blogs/mweber/ Disclaimer: This posting is provided AS IS with no warranties or guarantees and confers no rights.
