Hi I try to install windows server 2008 on a virtual machine but i cant becouse (attempting to load a 64bit application, however this cpu is not compatible with 64bit mode) How can i instal virtual machine on windows 7 with windows server 2008 is there windows server 2008 32bit? Thanks

there is only a 32bit windows 2008 non R2, if its R2 you have to use 64 bit

Hi, If the CPU of physical machine isn't x64 then you will not be able to install virtual machine that have x64 OS. In your case, I advice you to install windows 2008 x86 as virtual machine. Yes Dimitar, I agree with them, you will have to implement Branchcache and Directacess, so that you must have windows 2008 R2 as servers in your environnement and windows 7 as client.
