Windows Server 2008 log-in font has changed
After a Windows update session (many important and optional udates) my Windows 2008 standard server booted with wingdings font and I can't "understand" the log-in sequence. Thus far, the log-in has not failed, but I can't read what's going
on. Can any one why this happened and what I can do to correct it?

Even if the SBS version is mentioned i suggest to check the steps in detail.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.

Thanks for your response. I've seen this post and have followed the instructions to delete the font, etc.. but it changes nothing. I get this font only during the post/boot phase. Login fonts for username and password are proper. Is
the font change due to something in one of the Microsoft updates? I'd sure like to know why this happened as well as how to get rid of it. I consider this problem closed. Thanks.
