I am maintaining windows server 2008 standard edition with 38-40 Clients. Some network printers and copier machines are also connected. Here we have groups as per dept. so users are also the members of those groups. and they have access in the files as per permission. Our office hour is 8.00 am to 6.00 pm. It works good. But only problem is after 5.00 PM our users get trouble to access their files eg. excel, word. But beleive me from morning to till 4-5 PM it works very nice. I am using trend micro worry free bizness edition. I given auto scan in anti virus at 6.00 am and my backup system also at 11.00pm. One more thing we are using Tally ERP9(license copy) for account dept. Please help me out.

1. check for event logs at the same time and see if you get some thing.2. Check for perf logs and see the memory utilization at that point of time.3. check all the processes at 5:00 PM and see if there is some extra process that starts.Raj

1st and 3rd option I checked there is nothing that I got.Can u explain 2nd option and tell me the procedure.
