Hi , I updated the Windows Server 2008 64 bit with the .net Framework 3.5 SP1 but the installation did not go thru successfully and i got the error message : Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80073712: Security Update for .NET Framework 3.5 SP1, Windows Vista SP2, and Windows Server 2008 SP2 for x64-based Systems (KB983589). Anybody encounter this problem before ? any ideas on how to apply this update without error ? Advise pls Ready for Action
