Hallo Winfried zunächst Danke für Deinen Beitrag. Der von Dir genannte Link brachte keinen Erfolg, weil die dort genannte Datei auf meinem System nicht gefunden werden konnte. Mit einer Systemwiederherstellung habe ich erst mal abgewartet, weil es wohl nur über "System reparieren" geht. Das war mir etwas zu heiß, weil ich derzeit nicht weiß, inwieweit es in installierte Anwendungen eingreift. Ich bin dann noch auf die CBS.log gestoßen. Dort waren die fehlgeschlagenen Updates protokolliert. Hat mich aber nicht weiter gebracht. Mein Hardware- uns Systemlieferant meinte ich solle erst mal abwarten. Mittlerweile wurden über "Automatische Updates" neue Updates installiert (auch eines der bisher fehlgeschlagenen). Kurioserweise war auch beim Fehlersuchen manuelles Installieren eines Updates nicht möglich, weil mein System kein 64-Bit-System sein soll. Ist es aber!? Schöne Grüße DiehtardDiethard
