Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard
Hello all,
I got an issue on my Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard servers.
When i'm managing the Task Scheduler to modify some stuff, i'm getting the below error:
An error has occurred for task "abc". Error message:The following error was reported:The Trust Relationship Between this Workstation and the primary Domain Failed..
One solution that i've found is about re-joining the server to the domain. Which has a downtime.......
please provide your views and solutions.
Thanks...

Try this commands
Netdom reset MachineName /domain DomainName /UserO UserName /PasswordO {Password | *}
where the credentials belong to the local Administrators group of the computer. This command resets the secure channel by attempting to reset the password on both the computer and the domain, so it does not require rejoining or rebooting.
OR
nltest /server:ServerName /sc_reset:DOMAIN\DomainController
This command, like Netdom.exe, attempts to reset the secure channel by resetting the password both on the computer and in the domain, so it does not require rejoining or rebooting.

Hello,
are the servers created from an image/clone etc? If yes is that one prepared with sysprep?Best regards

No the core servers have not been set up using image or clone.
they have been setup from scratch. Image was used for the VM on the core.
please advise as these are critical production servers.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
i don't get this "Image was used for the VM on the core", so the Windows Server 2008 Standard machines ARE created from an image?Best regards

Hello,
Have you solved this problem yet?
I would suggest take the computer off the domain, delete the Computer Account and re-join it to the domain.
Here is an explain of this problem and the solution to it

ignore the above line...
all the core servers where setup from scratch. No image was used for the core servers.
