Windows Server 2008 R2 SE not showing extended volume correctly
Dear experts, I'm facing a common issue as a couple of people out there. Am using Windows 2008 R2 SE OS for File Share Services. 1.3TB Total Capacity for D:\ 650GB Used and remaining is unused I've used the Disk Management MMC to extend 51200MB. Appears cool on the Disk Management and DiskPart. But Explorer and Chkdsk is not reflecting the extended 50GB correctly As per microsoft KB, i've select the affected volume and use the extend filesystem. Unfortunately, this does not seem working for me. Would anyone drop some ideas on how we can have this resolve? Thanks, Jia..

Hi, It seems that the KB you mentioned is the following one. Base on my research, it’s applies to Windows Server 2003 instead of Windows Server 2008. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb%3bEN-US%3b832316 By the way, I would like to know whether you have hard quota enabled on the disk.
