Windows Server 2008 R2 Lost security permissions on C: Drive
Good Day
We have a Terminal Server 2008 R2 and a group policy that restricts access to a Root folder of the C: drive
for domain users. However when this has been applied, it wiped every security permissions from the C: drive. So there are no System/administrator securities applied at the moment. In other words, computer lost access to C: drive and nobody
can view/access it.
We tried doing few things like running a command called "secedit or applying full access through GPO for administrator/system
user under Terminal Server root folder for C: drive, but no luck :(.
Is there a way we can reset the root folder of C: drive security permissions to default without doing a format of WS 2008
R2?
Please help.
Thank you
