Windows Server 2008 R2 0xc000007b
Hello out there,
we have recently done a clean build of a Windows Server 2008 R2. The issue appears while starting an executable data file.
While clicking on the executable, this Error appear:
dmdbtest.exe - Application Error
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b) Click OK to close the application.
Any ideas? We have allready checked this Forum and found a similar problem, but the given answers do not help.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Neumann ,
As a workaround to this issue, download and install Windows Installer Cleanup Utility on your computer.
Download link:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2.exe
I hope this will help you.
Regards.

PS:
On July 1st we will be making Windows Server 2008 R2 General forum read only. After receiving a lot of feedback from the community, it
was decided that this forum is a duplication and therefore redundant of the
General Forum. So, until July 1st, we will start asking customers to redirect their questions to the
General Forum. On June 11th, CSS engineers will move any new threads to the
General Forum.
Please post a reply to
the announcement thread if you have
any feedback on this decision or the process. You can also email
WSSDComm@microsoft.com.
Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.
