Windows Server 2008 Feature Request
I just posted my feature request forWindows Server 2008 at Microsoft Connect, but I thought I'd post it in this forum too.Windows Server 2008 should support up to 5 CPUs on one motherboard. I think currently it supports 2 CPUs.Large websites usually have a cluster of servers because one dedicated server is not powerful enough to handle millions of users online at the same time. A cluster of servers are a group of dedicated servers working as one. If Windows Server 2008 supported motherboards with up to 5 CPUs then people with large websites would not need as much servers which would keep costs down. And motherboard manufacturers probably don't make motherboards that support 5 CPUs because Windows doesn't support that many CPUs on one motherboard.
