Windows Server 2008
Hi, Initially my windows 2008 server is having 2gb RAM. But its speed is very slow. So I upgrade the RAM from 2gb to 4gb. It helps me to increase the server speed. Now when I again try to reduce the RAM from 4gb to 2 gb and starts the machine, a beep sound comes and system wont direct to the boot loader of windows server 2008 instead some new screen comes which is having 4-5 options to choose type of windows installation like windows 6 etc. But when I again starts the machine with 4gb it boots normally with no exceptions. Please sugest that how to start the machine again with 2gb RAM. OS: Windows 2008 server. Thanks in advance.

Hi, First you have upgrading your RAM then your system bios also has update its hardware configuration. But now you seems to degrade to 2 Gb so the BIOS alert you everytime. Its Simple solution is that remove ur BIOS Cell from motherboard it removes all the system info from BIOS now start your system fresh. It will boots up normally.. Thanking you
