Windows Server 2003 with IIS 6 and SHA256 hash
Hi! I want to use one Certificate Authority to certificate a site on IIS, but if I use SHA256 hash, I can't because IIS don't accept CA Certificate. (but accept if I use SHA-1) Doesn't IIS have SHA256 support for certificates? Thanks.

No.Only a Vista/Server 2008 or higher client can consume certificates using a SHA256 hash.A Windows XP SP3 client can validate a certificate using a SHA2 has but cannot actually use the certificate as its ownThere are no plans to back port SHA2 functionality top XP/2003Brian
