Here's my situation. I have an out-of-the-box Dell Poweredge 2950 and want toinstall Windows Server 2003 on it. Whenever I try to load the O/S, it gets to the screen with the error " setup did not find any hard disk drives installed on your system.." I then tried Windows Server 2008 x64 and it installed fine, but I need 2003 on it. The server has SAS hard drives. How can I resolve this issue? Thank you

Server 2003 will not have any built in drivers for SAS drives. There were no SAS drives in servers in 2003.Bill

The problem you have,is that server2003 have no built in driver for SAS drive. So you must have this driver on a separate CD or floppy. At the begining of the server2003 installation you have to press key F6 when you are invited to do, to be able to load external drivers.
