Hi Is there a free MS tool to monitor and ALERT Windows Server 2003? I know about Perfmon.msc but I need something more easy to configure and with the ability to alert. Thanks, maelitoMaelito

there is no free MS tool which can really monitor your server in's and out. How ever you can keep an eye on the event los, perfmon. You can keep chekcing the managmanet tools from HW vendor to monitor the HW but not a sinlge tool can do that.SCOM can do this for you how ever this is not free. In third party utilities , you can use Solar winds and i think they have some kind of free utility which can basic monitoring for you,Raj
