Hi Dom, Could you please check if the files share can be accessed? How often the event ID 55 occurs? Troubleshooting steps: 1. Disable any Anti-virus scans of the problematic data directory where the MFT corruption seemed to be occurring 2. Disable offline files and folders 3. Remove any 3rd party applications by clean boot. STEP: clean boot. a. Click "Start", go to "Run", and type "msconfig" in the open box to start the System Configuration Utility. b. Click the "Services" tab, check the "Hide All Microsoft Services" box and click Disable All (if it is not gray). c. Click the "Startup" tab, click "Disable All" and click "OK". d. Restart your computer. When the "System Configuration Utility" window appears, please check the box and click "OK". If the issue still continues, we then need to determine what was running at the time of the event ID 55 or see what data was involved in the Application popup so we can associate it with a user or application at the time. Meanwhile, we need to analyze the performance log and to solid locate the root cause. Unfortunately, it is not effective for us to analyze the performance log file here in the forum. Therefore, I would like to suggest that you contact Microsoft Customer Service and Support (CSS) via telephone so that a dedicated Support Professional can assist with your request. To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request please take a look at the web site listed below: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;OfferProPhone#faq607 Hope it helps.David Shen - MSFT
