Hi Setup Scneraio: IBM X3400 2*2Ghz, 4GB Memory, 250GB RAID 5 level with windows server 2003 Std edition SP2 ADS, DNS, DHCP, SQL Server Express Edition, .Net Framework 1.x edition based applications. Anntivirus is Trend micro. Security Updates are upto date in Server & client machines. for morethan 3 months the server was working fine. suddenly the server got shutdown / restart abruptly except event id: 6008 in system event. The server got restart or shutdown at different days not on a regulare basis. so ticket has been raised to ibm to isolate the hardware issue. Meanwhile checked for any BlueDump Error or %SystemRoot%\MEMORY.DMP & found no issue in hardware side. We disabled the Service of IBM Automatic Server Restart. then the following actions are taken to observ the issue. 1) Disabled all services & kept the server observation. 2) then enabled from AV service, sql server express service etc as each one day for observation. We cant able to predict the issue & not able to get any clue to look into this issue. but the server got restart / shutdown at any day. we came to know windows server active directory & sql server database are not be in the same server.anybody having the link for the same to prove it to our client. Because the another server which is as same hardware & software configurations working fine. These issue gives much more trouble to run the operation. Advance thanks if anyone provide us the solution.

Hi vincent yes that option also we tried to boot it from saffe mode for observation, that time too server restarts / shutdown.

Hi Vincent From IBM they already replaced Planner (motherboard), SMPS, FAN to isolate the issue. nothing helpful. any solution?
