Windows Server 2003 SP2 installation error
Hi all,I'm trying to install Windows Server 2003 SP2 (32bit) on a SBS2003 Standard for quite some time but I still doesn't work out.I get the following error (Event-ID 20 from Source "Windows Update Agent"): The installation failed with error 0x8007f070. I tried several things regarding server metadata and WMI but still no luck. I have the Service Pack Installation Log but the sections regarding the SP2 is quite long so I will post it if needed. Thanks in advance.Ragards, Michael

Hi, I suggest downloading SP2 manually and then installing it in Safe Mode. If the issue persists, as this issue is related to SBS 2003, I suggest further discussing is in our SBS newsgroup. They are the best resource to troubleshoot this issue. http://www.microsoft.com/smallbusiness/community/newsgroups/dgbrowser/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.backoffice.smallbiz&lang=en&cr=US&r=627fae54-a95e-45ba-b054-e423964b47fa Hope it helps. I am a little bit afraid if I install the SP in safe mode that the server won't boot in normal mode? So making an image before should be useful...
