Windows Server 2003 R2
I am having an issue installing Server 2003. The BIOS recognizes the hard drives, but the Operating system says that there are no hard drives detected.

Hello, What is the type of the hard drive you use? SATA or IDE? Did you ever try enabling SATA compatibility mode in BIOS? Besides, I suspect this could be a device drive issue for Hard drive? This Vincent thread may be helpful for you. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winservergen/thread/7e58be1f-3e97-44cf-ae11-de2627d9cd94/ Hope it helps. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.

The hard drives are new and SATA. They are 160 GB. When I put the 1 TB hard drives in, it only recognizes those not the 160. Doesn't matter where I plug the them into, it only recognizes the 1 TB. The 1 TB is also SATA.
