Please check if the old password is still working. If yes then it might be an AD replication issue. Here, you can use dcdiag and repadmin commands to check your DCs and AD replication health status. Also, see my article here: http://www.ahmedmalek.com/web/fr/articles.asp?artid=23
If the old password does not work then it might be that you have entered a new password while the current keyboard language was not set. In this case, try using a Domain Admin account and reset the password again.
If you do not have the Domain Admin password then you can reset it as mentioned here: https://www.petri.com/reset_domain_admin_password_in_windows_server_2003_ad

Try to force the AD replication by running the command below using an ad useraccount member of Domain Admin Security group or equivalent :
Repadmin /Replicate DestinationDC SourceDC dc=mydomain,dc=local
You can simply try to reset ur password again (type it on notepad before confirming the reset) to be sure that u're using the right password.

I'm lucky that I have a system restore point.
