Hello Everybody, Recently, I have bought new laptop with Windows 7 already installed. I would like to install Windows Server 2003 on Windows 7, by making it dual-boot system. When I try to run the setup of Windows Server 2003, I am getting error STOP 0x0000007B. Pls give suggestion Regards, Thiyagu

Hi, Please check the following links to see whether you can resolve the issue. Advanced troubleshooting for "Stop 0x0000007B" errors in Windows XP http://support.microsoft.com/kb/324103 "STOP 0x0000007B: INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE" error message when you use a USB CD-ROM device to install Windows Server 2003 or Windows 2000 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/883114 Windows Server 2003 BSOD with STOP: 0x0000007B http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/winserversetup/thread/19402d17-3239-4e8b-b6c6-e06f45f3a123 By the way, I suspect that the SATA controller settings in BIOS is set to AHCI by default. You may try to navigate to the BIOS settings and then change the SATA controller from AHCI to IDE or compatibility mode to see whether you get the same issue. Best Regards, Vincent Hu
