We are planning to migrate Windows 2003 32 Bit to Windows 2012 64 Bit.

I read about the Migration Tools- http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn486809.aspx

This is what it says:-

"Migration documentation and tools ease the process of migrating server roles, features, operating system settings, and data from an existing server that is running Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, or Windows Server 2012 to a computer that is running Windows Server 2012."

Ok - So I understand the features and roles migration. It mentions about Operating System Settings and Data.

Cant find the details on what these settings would be and what the data would consist of? Like ODBC connections, all shares, all D:\ data?

I know MDT can do all these for us easily. Can someone guide or throw some light
