Windows Media Encoder stops after stream startup
We are streaming from an XP PC over the public internet to a 2003 server in a different state. Windows Media Encoder will often stop after starting a live audio stream (push method). It may stop once or twice, after a short time (few seconds to a minute) of streaming. (I have to click Start again to get it going.) It might give an error of 'no connection with the server'. (The server never flinches or gives any indication of an error.) After that it will stream fine for rest of the session. I don't see anything going on that would lead me to the problem. It doesn't seem to be a networking issue, unless is it some kind latency issue. Any ideas as to what might be the problem? Thanks, Justin

Miles, This is not a programming question. I couldn't find any Windows Media Services related forum, so this is the closest I could find. However, maybe http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/community/newsgroups/WindowsMedia/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.windowsmedia.encoder&lang=en&cr=US is a better fit. MS has too many forums scattered all about! Justin
