Hi,

A bit lost where to post my question but I guess this might be the best place.

I had to recover my windows home server. All is well I am happy to say, no data lost.

However recovering the domain service is a problem.

I have live ID and email account and an existing domain name.

The setup requires me to release the xxxxx.homeserver.com domain before I can reset.

Will that work??? or do I lose the domain service???

Perhaps someone can shed some light on it before I do something I regret. or is there a hack in the registry to make it function again
