Windows Firewall for Server 2008
Hello,I tried to disable Windows Firewall for a Windows Server 2008 File server and it kicked everyone off of the server. No one was able to access any the shares or remotely connect to the server. The server could ping everyone's workstation and access internet webpages. Can someone help me with this? I would rather disable windows firewally for our internal servers. ThanksJayJason

Thank you for your post here.
Please make sure that you didn't disable Windows Firewall by stopping the service. To disable the firewall functionality, you may follow the article below to disable all profiles in the Windows Firewall with Advanced Security MMC snap-in.
