I have 2 Dell servers (different models) with server 2008R2 installed. When I insert my 32G flash drive I get the usual popup for autoplay. When I click to open the files I get the message "Windows Explorer has stopped working". Then WE tries to restart
and stops. It also happens if I click the drive in the WE Computer and drives. It does not happen with smaller flash drives. The disk remains as visible in WE and can be "safely removed" as usual. I have another server of the same model with another OS and
it is able to read the flash drive. Any ideas?

Hello,
Generally windows try to index the files if we insert any flash drive/external USB HDD before exploring it.
We can suspect performance of the server and need to check the configuration (RAM, Processor and Virtual memory)
Also recommend you to check for the processes which are running in the server before inserting flash drive and please do page file configuration for increasing the performance of the server.
Disable un-needed services, if you have any.
