Windows Deployment Services on different subnets but with DHCP server on each subnet
Hi, Does anyone know if this scenario is even possible?: SUBNET1: 192.168.1.0 - one server running DHCP, WDS and is DC SUBNET2: 192.168.5.0 - one server running DHCP and is DC Can I direct WDS-requests/boots to the WDS-server on SUBNET1 if I make a network boot/PXE-boot, but ONLY in the case that I do a network boot - not a normal/daily boot, where I want my IP-address from the DHCP-server on SUBNET2 ? And does anyone know if I can make the necessary changes by only setting DHCP-options on the server on SUBNET2, og do I have to use IP-helpers? The WDS server is working perfectly on SUBNET1.Regards, Allan Kjaer Microsoft MCP, MCDST, MCSA 2003, MCTS Configure Exchange 2010, MCITP Server Administrator 2008 Check Point CCSA, CCSE Cisco CCENT
