Windows 8.1 x64 multi desktop within Hyper-V
I have a guest OS running windows 8.1 within a Hyper-V 2012 R2 server. I enabled Enhanced session mode to enable multiple monitor display from the console. I need to run a multiple monitor environment on this system, however there is an application which is detecting this as a remote desktop session and not initializing due to DRM. I can disable Enhanced session mode and the application will function properly. Is there any possible way to use session 0/console with a multi monitor environment, and not have it detected as remote session?

RDP is what gives you the ability for multi-monitor support.

The Hyper-V console is designed for basic functionality like getting the OS installed.

I don't know of a way to get multi-monitor support without RDP.

I'd also repost in the proper forum: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w8itprovirt/threads

That forum is specifically for Windows 8.x Hyper-V.  The Hyper-V guys are there.

This one is for a much older product Virtual Server 2005.
