Windows 7 taking long time in 2008 domain
Newly installed Windows 7 machine added in domain sucessfully. But issue is Network card taking long time to come up. I checked DNS address and DNS server for forward and lookup zone, Everything Ok. This is happening after restart of machine. There is no issue for logoff and login into another user. Please help

Hello, also make sure that the server is pointing to the correct internal DNS server as primary DNS server. Another thing is to run msconfig and disable all startup items except Microsoft ones. Thanks for suggestions. I will inplement this and revert back. I am still not understand that why my network card taking so long time for coming up. It takes almost 4 min. between this time i able to ping domain controller and DNS server. Is there anything in network card? i reinstalled drivers required for this. I also checked DNS address in WIndows 7 machine.

Hi, Please also update the network card driver to check the result. In addition, you may test the issue in Safe Mode with Networking. What are the results? What is it thats slow? Startup of the PC or the actual login? - Suspect event viewer will give you a clue whats going on.
